Meet our team

Every member of our team was hand picked for their unique ability to stand out in an environment where most struggle to keep up. Each of them has a passion for the craft of Long Range Shooting and take tremendous pride in sharing that knowledge with anyone who is willing to learn. Here at Surgical Precision we do not run a "Feel Good" shooting school. We train hard and put in the work to make you the very best long range shooter we can possibly make you in our time together. The days will be long, but rewarding! By the end of your time with us you will be making shots, on your own, that you never thought possible. If this sound like something you are interested in, drop us a line!

Logan

Copeland

Logan Copeland is the founder of Surgical Precision, a premier Long Range Shooting School based out of Mobile Alabama. Growing up on a farm in the south, Logan began hunting small game with pellet rifles and .22 Long Rifles at the age of 8. As he grew older this progressed into deer and hog hunting. During this time, Logan grew to be proficient with his Remington 700 chambered in .270 Winchester. Naturally, as time moved forward, Logan signed up for service in the U.S. Military. Serving in the Army National Guard for over a decade, most of that time as a Special Operations Combat Medic. Logan during this time completed the Special Forces Sniper Course (SFSC) and stood out as an excellent and passionate sniper and became a viable source of information to his peers. During this time frame, Logan also served as a competition Marksman for the Army National Guard where he competed in "Sniper" style shooting matches representing the Alabama Army National Guard. Logan is also the former team leader of a SWAT sniper section, during which he wrote policy, tactics, and lead training events for multiple agencies and their operational SWAT snipers. Logan hand picked Mike and Chris, two of his former colleagues and began to lead world class training for anyone wanting to learn the art of Long Range Shooting and more specifically help prepare aspiring backcountry hunters for scenarios often presenting with shots over 1000 yards.
